Support Jerry D's Fight Against Cancer

Hey guys, this is kind of important so if you have a second, please read.

So yeah, hey everybody. Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been around and that I've been ducking the question for a while. The truth is that 2 months ago, I was admitted to the hospital with an infection that had gone septic and a form of gangrene. I've had 21 surgeries so far, mostly to remove necrotic tissue, muscle and treat the gangrene but also skin grafts to try and help heal the left over wound. It's complicated because it's very large. For a long time, the doctors couldn't figure out how this had happened but I've since had an MRI and a biopsy. It turns out, I have cancer. I'm going to need chemotherapy, radiation, and more surgery. I'll be in treatment for a long time, some of it from a skilled nursing facility and then later when I'm able to return home.

We aren't sure how much all of this is going to cost but we're setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical expenses, rent and utilities. Please share this with your friends and family and across platforms (I only have Facebook.)

In the meantime, I'm sure all of you have a lot of questions but all of this has been exhausting and I'm not sure I'm up to answering them yet. We will post updates to let you know how things are going as I have energy.
