SoundWave SDSU ICCA travel fund!

SoundWave is San Diego State University's first and only premier co-ed a cappella group! Our group was founded with the goals of encouraging creativity, fostering teamwork, embracing diversity, and keeping our love for the performing arts! We only have 3 music majors in our ensemble, so most of our members joined SoundWave to continue to dedicate themselves to their passion for music and singing, despite it not being a part of their career path! (And do it all on top of their academic load!) We perform frequently around the SDSU campus, in the greater San Diego area (including with a cappella groups at other universities), and have even participated in the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF). This will be our 4th year competing in the ICCAs, and each time we have competed in previous years we have gone to the Southwest Semifinals, after winning First Place at the Southwest Quarterfinals! This year we are headed back to the ICCAs, which are hosted in Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix is a long way from San Diego, and since we are all college students, we need your help with funding to get there! All donations will go toward transportation, application fees, and hotel costs. Anything counts, and we truly appreciate every dollar and cent that we can get! SoundWave’s goal is to splash the audience with a wave of sound and pursue our collective passion for music, despite our diverse range of majors and backgrounds. We are so grateful to be able to continue to foster our love of song together, and we are so thankful for anything you can donate to support us in that mission!!
