As of 12/28/2023, here is the situation with my healing battle.
The x-rays of my broken left arm and dislocated shoulder showed damage greater than initially determined AND then my dislocated shoulder healed incorrectly meaning a little below where it should have been positioned. As a result, my motion with my arm is limited as follows: the movement forward and upward is maybe 75%; the movement to the side and upward is maybe 45%; and the movement backwards is maybe 30%.
The ability of my left arm to lift anything is limited to maybe 15 pounds but even that has to be very controlled with little side to side movement. My right arm is fine and I use it to hold heavy items and the left arm just kind of balances the weight. That allows me to do most daily tasks.
The PT guys gave me 16 exercises to perform on a daily basis to increase the movement and strength of my left arm with guidance of what to do if I experience any pain while performing those exercises. So with those "rules or guidance" I am able to do most of the exercises 4 times a week.
Those exercises will help me regain flexibility and strength as well as eliminating the pain that some simple everyday movement causes. As I have said before "It is what it is" and I will work though it.
As I wrote in my 12/27/2023 update listed below, I am committed to working hard to get my life back and to get as much movement back in my arm as I can. I am prepared to work though the year 2024 and beyond, as necessary, to accomplish that goal.
But I will still need financial assistance throughout the year to keep up the supply of health products needed to provide healing nutrients and LifeWave patches for pain relief as well as other health supplements necessary to keep up my energy level and my healing capability. Rest assured that your donations will be greatly appreciated by Rachel and me and well used in my healing journey.
Thank you for your continued support and donations.
Godspeed,
Bill and Rachel
