Help Oscar T. Grouch Walk Again!
Please Help Save Oscar T. Grouch's Remaining Back Leg! Oscar is a tripod and has gone lame. UPDATE: With your donations, Oscar was able to have his Luxating Patella surgery (MPL). Now he faces massive rehab! Well Adjusted Pet came up with a plan, but his back leg is in rough shape. He also has IVDD. I really need your help to pay off his surgery debt and keep his rehab going. he is a year and a half, and has many more years to go. Please help him remain an active little flamepoint.
Backstory! Hi! I'm Nina, a long time RVT and rescuer of cats. Oscar T. Grouch came into our ER 1.5 years ago as a tail pull kitten, paralyzed in the rear. His right hind had to be amputated. Through hard work, he regained use of his left hind leg, but reperfusion injury took 3 of his 4 toes and deformed his metatarsals. He has already had 2 corrective surgery procedures done as a young kitten to help correct his gait. Then we just had to wait and see while he grew up and his growth plates closed. He has adjusted well to the tripod life. His tail acting as a balance, he runs, climbs, wrestles his housemates and lives a spoiled life.
