MCS Performing and Expressive Arts Faculty

Parent volunteers are fundraising for the MCS Performing and Expressive Arts Faculty so they can invest in the technical equipment needed to run their performances.

The work that goes into each performance is mind blowing! The dedication from the pupils on stage and back stage, to the teachers and volunteers that give up evenings and weekends to pull the performances together is just inspiring. For everyone involved its one big family, helping each other and coming together to put on several performances that has often brough the audience to tears.

Les Misérables, Guys & Dolls, Grease, Seussical Jr, Sister Act to name but a few recent performances.

All the money made at each performance goes back into the pot and put towards the next performance. The more equipment that can be purchased to be used at all performances will save on hire costs. As you can imagine the cost of of microphone's, sound, lights, set and costumes can really add up!

All the money invested will be well spent and go towards the future of the pupils coming through the school, not only developing their performance skills, but team working and well being.
