My name is Alyssa Nieves and I am raising money for a family that has been impacted by the genocide in Gaza. This is their story.
Hello, I am Abrar from Gaza, I am 32 years old, I have been working as a teacher for 12 years, I was building a beautiful life for myself and my three children with my husband and I accomplished a lot, but suddenly October 7th came and in a moment everything was destroyed, we lost everything we owned, our homes that we built with effort, fatigue and difficulty were demolished, we lost our source of livelihood, we had nothing left, we lost everything, all features of life here disappeared.
We are addressing your humanity. Help us rebuild our lives again in a safe place full of peace and security, my husband is abroad, he sends us all his salary, but because of the high prices, the salary is only enough to buy a few necessities, we must leave Gaza and go to my husband who has not seen his children for three years, and we die a hundred times every day for fear of not being able to see him again because of the brutality and random bombing here.
