Be a big part of History - The Old West Needs You
Donation protected
You may be familiar with "Storybook Ranch" that has been in McKinney, Texas since 1956. River Ranch Educational Charities, the Charity behind it, has moved it's location to Dallas and the land Storybook Ranch was on has been sold.
If you've been there any time since 1956 you have seen the old western town known as "Dry Bones" whose fate became uncertain when the land was sold. Nobody wanted to break this special town into individual buildings and sell them or bulldoze it down, so Bethel Village Foundation has found a place for "Dry Bones" to call home.
We are offering the opportunity for YOU to get involved and breathe new life into this town as we move and restore each of the buildings, making it available to the next several generations of North Texans and visitors from around the world.
The new home for this amazing historic town sits right on the border of Van Alstyne, TX and Whitewright, TX. East of Van Alstyne and South of Whitewright.
How fun will it be to be part of this? We are all so tired of politics and COVID, it's time to pull together for a project that will be FUN and change the North Texas landscape forever.
We have opportunities for people to serve on committees, volunteer at events, or donate and we may have a few jobs open as well.
Any donation above $50 will also get a commemorative certificate of participation. Jump on board and let's see what we can do together because, Together is Best!
