Help Ron the Cocker Spaniel Get Life-Saving Ear Surgery

Donation protected

Ron is our sweet 15-year-old Cocker Spaniel who urgently needs surgery to remove a tumor in his ear. The mass causes frequent bleeding and puts him at high risk for infection. He’s currently wearing a cone to prevent further damage, but surgery is the only real solution to keep him safe and comfortable.

Before he can undergo the procedure, Ron needs an echocardiogram to confirm his heart can handle anesthesia, especially given his age. A biopsy will also be required to determine whether the tumor is cancerous. The full cost for his surgery, pre-op echocardiogram, biopsy, and medications is estimated at $3,100.

Ron is currently taking Gabapentin for pain and Clavamox to prevent infection. Recent lab work showed elevated amylase levels (2032 U/L), which may indicate inflammation of the pancreas. He also has high white blood cell and neutrophil counts, suggesting his body is fighting an infection or inflammation. We’re monitoring him closely and trying to keep him as comfortable as possible while we work toward getting him the care he needs.

Ron means the world to us, and we just want him to get through this and enjoy more happy days ahead. Any support—whether through donations or simply sharing this page—would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for helping us care for Ron.
