Support Paula's Dream of Sharing Flowers

Donation protected
Hello. My name is Pada, aka Paula. I've been selling flowers that we grow from our backyard with my 90-year-old grandmother since 2018 after the passing of my Dad/her son from cancer. Growing flowers with Grandma has been a way for us to cope with the loss, and making a business out of it was fun. But Grandma had two major asthma attacks the prior year that had her in the hospital for months before she recovered. With this, I forced her to retire last year and have been doing this solo with a little help from my 11-year-old cousin.

This year, I wish to give them away to the community around us to remind them how beautiful the world can still be. There are many times instead of selling flowers, I would just give them away because sometimes it's just nice to. Flowers are a gift from the earth that fits with all occasions, and I just wish to go back to sharing it.

Easter and Mother's Day will soon come, and my child's school asked me if I can sell them my flowers so they can give them away to the staff and parents. I would very much instead give them the flowers without selling them, but we are going through some financial hardships. And with the economy right now, something like this can help lift the mood for everyone. Like I said, flowers gave me a way to grieve and cope with my loss, and I would like to share my flowers. $5 will be enough for a small bouquet, simply wrapped of 4 to 6 stems.

All funding will go toward creating my bouquets that I grow myself, mostly from my backyard. Any extra funding will be donated to my child school, Highland community school. I love this school, they had help my child so much especially since my children are autistic.

Tulips will soon be in season, and hopefully, I have chamomile mixed with it too. My greenhouse isn't exactly in the best shape, but hopefully, I can still grow more flowers in time for Easter and Mother's Day. Grandma's bouquet usually is 12-18stems for $12 to $15.

I dream that one day I own a flower shop with affordable flowers for everyone. (Nowadays, flowers are just too expensive.) And the shop to have a backyard, like a botanical garden for people to come and enjoy. (Our house is kinda like this already, lol)
