Hi, my name is Ismaila and I’m a high school student with dreams of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. I’ve been accepted into the Atlantis program, which gives students like me the opportunity to shadow doctors abroad—in my case, in Greece. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will allow me to gain real-world exposure to the medical field, develop critical skills, and take an important step toward my future in medicine.
