Our therapy horses are the 'tutors' at 'The Therapeutic Tutors', once stars of the racetrack and show ring, they now dedicate their lives to helping others. They offer solace, support, and a unique form of therapy to individuals facing a range of challenges. From children in care or struggling with school, to adults recovering from trauma, our horses provide a safe and non-judgmental space for healing.

Provide nutritious feed: Ensuring our horses stay healthy and strong.

Purchase high-quality hay: A vital part of their diet.

Cover veterinary costs: Ensuring our horses receive the best possible care.

We’re proud to support 20 children and up to 15 adults a week through the transformative power of equine therapy. With most of our programs running for 10 weeks, our incredible therapy horses work year round and deliver on average an astounding 1, 750 sessions per year—that’s 15–20 sessions a week, even more than some human therapists!

Our mission is to make equine-assisted therapy accessible to those who need it most, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, ethics, and professionalism. We are committed to providing evidence-based, clinically supervised therapy delivered by qualified practitioners.

To ensure accessibility to those who cannot afford this type of therapy, we offer programs at reduced rates or fully funded to services like local charities or schools. As a not-for-profit, any revenue generated from sessions is directly reinvested into the care of our therapy horses and the ongoing professional development of our qualified facilitators.
