Hurricane Beryl Devastated the Island Nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines, on July 1st, 2024!
We urgently need your help!!
We need your help to assist us in our emergency relief efforts in St. Vincent and the Grenadines due to the impact of Hurricane Beryl! As noted by many reliable sources on the ground in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, approximately 90% of communities have been affected and thousands are displaced. Your support is important to help this fundraising cause. Many people in the communities and those on the ground are doing their best to assist in any way they can, BUT, it has become overwhelming for so many, as the need is Grand!!! The devastation has demolished homes, with over 90% of buildings and structures, damaged or destroyed on some islands. There is limited access to food, shelter, and medical care, and as a result, many will urgently need to leave some islands.
CARI-ON SVG Disaster Preparedness is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources and active, timely relief efforts to help families and communities carry on during and after disasters in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Our Mission: Our goal is to mitigate the challenges that come with disasters by conducting active, timely relief. Working closely with the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), the Consul General of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for Canada, Fitzgerald Huggins, and our relative organizations, The St. Vincent and Grenadines Association of Toronto Inc. (SVGAT), the Union Island Cultural Association (UICA), and Toronto SVG Support Group, we provide essential goods and supplies for current and impending disasters impacting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Our Response: After the volcanic eruption that devastated our islands in 2021, we are now responding to Hurricane Beryl. It has devastated communities, which are now in urgent need of assistance, with homes destroyed, families displaced, and upended lives in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
How You Can Help: Your donations will directly contribute to providing essential supplies like food, water, clothing, and shelter to the thousands in communities who have lost everything.

We are continuing our efforts to enable communication efforts with an upcoming fundraiser support, the Ham Radio project. Collaboration planning is underway. This will contribute to quicker assistance communication, before, during, and after a disaster, bringing much needed relief and alleviating significant worry in times of crisis.
