Zef’s Last Wishes

On February 4, 2021 our beloved Zef lost his battle to cancer. This post was created by him a couple of weeks ago. 

Being the proud, hardworking young man that he was, he was hesitant to post this or even ask for help. After receiving and reading many comforting words of healing and support, the family found this post saved in his notes. 

We are overwhelmed and grateful by the outpouring of love and support that we have received from “our village” of family and friends from near and far.

We are sharing his wish to help offset medical expenses incurred during his illness and to help his significant other raise his almost 2 year old daughter.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and support

From Zef...  “If you know me well enough or even at all you know that I have never done something like this before as I have been very hesitant to do so :( . I was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer (bone and muscle) April 10th 2020 soon after receiving what I thought was foot surgery to remove a harmless tumor. Throughout the year I’ve had multiple surgeries, treatments such as immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy etc. to fight this awful disease. I’m still currently fighting going into the new year and now it is becoming extremely difficult to start catching up with the bills that are climbing and climbing due to me being out of work all this time, as most know cancer treatment is not the cheapest thing in the world unfortunately.. now I do NOT want people to feel obligated and as I stated I really am not one to post something like this because I struggle to ask for help enough as it is. Anything helps my family and I, as throughout the year several people have reached out, sending beautiful messages to us showing they are watching my journey. This has helped me mentally and spiritually through the darkest days and I want to personally thank those who have done so.
