Help My Family and I Escape Florida

Hi yall,

My name is Nymphadora and I am a Transgender Woman. I came to this realization early in 2021 and have been living openly as myself ever since. Shortly after coming out I began HRT and have been happily transitioning medically for almost two years now. However, I also currently live in the sunshine state of Florida.

For those of you who are unaware, Ronald Mcdonald Dick Dickstantis is currently trying to completely irradicate Transgender people completely and has started this monumental task by passing some horrible anti-trans laws into effect. It began as anti-trans healthcare for youth and has rapidly grown to include all-out bans on trans folks in bathrooms as of today, May 17th. Due to this and the other mounting bills that have been announced, or are secretly in the works by meatball Ron himself, I find myself and my family attempting to flee the state as many other trans folks are currently attempting to do to ensure my safety.

As of right now (May 17th) my wife and I are looking to leave the state no later than July to Chicago IL. We are actively figuring out employment and housing but that's where this lovely gofundme comes in to help.

As I'm sure you are aware, an impromptu sudden move is not easy nor is it cheap in the slightest and the more we delve into this, the more the costs are mounting and showing themselves. Even with the minute amount of savings and our jobs, this move is already putting us in the negative but can't be halted or pushed back due to the events occurring actively and rapidly. Along with that, it's also interfering with my main line of work, which is vending my and my wife's art at various art, comic and anime shows due to those venues and spaces being high potential for me to simply be arrested just for existing!

Anything you can give will immensely help us and our situation and even a simple share or word of mouth is incredibly appreciated. We are not expecting anyone to give and you are not personally obligated to either, but if you feel so moved, then please help us. We are in dire need.
