Change Lives: Provide Mobility in Uganda

The Ssengooba Foundation Wheelchair Project
Empowering Lives Through Mobility
In rural Uganda, countless children and adults face life without the freedom of mobility. With no access to wheelchairs, they are often confined to their homes, unable to attend school, work, or participate in their communities. The unpaved clay pathways and rugged roads of their villages make traditional mobility aids impractical and leave many isolated from opportunities to thrive.
At The Ssengooba Foundation, we are committed to changing this. Through our Wheelchair Project, we aim to provide durable, all-terrain wheelchairs that are specifically adapted to the challenging environments of rural Uganda.
A wheelchair costs just $200 in Kampala—a small investment that transforms lives. Each wheelchair provides:
The ability to navigate difficult terrains like clay roads and unpaved paths.
Access to education, employment, and community involvement.
Independence, dignity, and a brighter future.
Our Goal: We are raising $1000 to purchase 5 wheelchairs for those who need them most. Every donation helps us give the gift of mobility and hope to individuals and families across Uganda.
How You Can Help:
- $50 helps cover the cost of essential parts.
- $100 funds half the cost of a wheelchair.
- $200 provides one fully equipped wheelchair.
Your contribution—big or small—will make a lasting impact. Together, we can empower lives through mobility and create stories of hope and independence.
Donate today and be part of this life-changing mission.
Thank you for your help with our project!
