Bianca’s Side Quest: Healing, Breathing, Rebuilding
Donation protected
From Renesme Fakename (yes, I also get nervous!)
Hi everyone, I’m writing on behalf of someone incredibly dear to me — Bianca Lopez. She's one of the hardest-working, most vibrant people I know. A few months ago, she was sidelined by an injury. In our line of work, having full use of your body isn’t just important — it’s everything.
Unfortunately, during her recovery, Bianca lost function in one of her lungs. As you can imagine, that has made healing more complicated and has slowed her ability to get back on her feet. To make matters more stressful, she also had to move in the middle of her recovery and upcoming surgeries. Between medical bills, rent, and just trying to stay afloat, it’s a lot.
Bianca isn’t one to ask for help — she’s usually the first to offer it. She always finds a way, always pushes through. But this time, I’m stepping in to ask for her. Anything helps — a donation, a share, a kind message. Truly, every little bit means the world.
Message From Bianca (Your Favorite Blue Fairy Godmother)
Hi! This time last year, I was packing for a dream trip across Europe with Renesme and some of our closest friends — we danced through Scotland, London, and Ireland. I was living my best life. That trip changed the course of my career and filled me with so much joy, freedom, and inspiration.
If you know me, you know I’m the queen of side quests. I live for spontaneous adventures. But right now, per doctor’s orders, my only side quest is to rest and recover. It’s the hardest role I’ve ever had to play and my D20 roll did not show up on time and life has been giving me Game Changer energy.
I’ve always been someone who figures things out on my own, but right now, even breathing can feel like a full-time job. I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this… but here I am, learning how to receive. Burning Man 2024, taught me that it's okay to get help from others, they want to offer their help and I am thankful for that.
If you’re able to support in any way — financially, emotionally, energetically — I’d be beyond grateful. Just knowing you're out there rooting for me gives me strength.
With love, light, and a lot of blue fairy dust,
Love, Bianca
