Anthony O. Alston, aka Tony Alston, passed away on August 26, 2023. Oh, how my heart mourns. He suffered for six years with diagnosed Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. He had no overt symptoms prior to his diagnosis.
When he fell on his job, he was terminated. Tony was a very proud man who Loved God. He held his head up and sought to focus on various ways to fight the cancer. He was determined to learn as much as he could, participate in cancer discussions and clinical trials. I believe that the radiation trial was what pushed his mets even more throughout his body. He would always say he's not giving up, even when nothing seemed to be working. The last ten months of his life had become unbearable. There were some really good days, but there were many bad days.
I am his wife of 22+ years and I've been deprived. I lost the love of my life, the only man who I truly loved, and who truly loved me. We became soul mates after many years. He was a selfless man; family meant everything to him. He would take off work and jeopardize his job to take care of his family. Oh how I miss and love my husband so!
He was such a proud man, driven to take care of his family. When he started realizing that he had become unable to even take care of himself, it absolutely crushed his spirit. If you ever knew Tony, he's a selfless person. But when he became sick, he needed alot of help but was too proud to ask.
Needless to say, we were unable to carry a life insurance policy and now I'm in a pickle. I had no idea that funeral and burial costs had risen so much. I need your help to funeralize my husband. I don't know if we'll come close, but I continue to pray your donation will help.
Thank you all and may God bless you for your support.
