Transforming Resto Depot

Resto Depot in NDG is an incredible community resource. Recently The Depot was forced to reduce the hours of operation due to budget constraints. I am setting out to enhance the services of Resto Depot - and to offer meal service at least 6 days/week - hopefully every day - paralleling a service offered in Cote des Neiges through MultiCaf.

It is estimated that to provide one day of food service it costs approximately $100,000/year. This is what I am setting out to collect - sufficient to enable operation in all days - which would represent an additional 4 days of food service.

The meals at Resto Depot are primarily vegetarian - and many people choose not to eat them. I also want to do everything necessary to ensure we can have meat meals in most days.

Finally, on Tuesdays we are treated to live music by one of the volunteers - John - and his band. This transforms the place and is greatly appreciated by all present. I would like to be able to have live music by local musicians every day. Please see additional information at: NDGProject.com

All funds generated will go directly to The Depot. Please circulate this message widely so that we may rapidly not only go back to 4 days of service - but extend these most valuable and necessary services 6 or 7 days/week. Many thanks in advance!
