Norma Alfrey
Donation protected
My name is Amanda Noble and I'm doing a fundraiser for my Aunt Norma (Noble) Alfrey. Norma passed away November 29th after being in the hopsital in Anderson, IN for almost a month. She fell at her home and did not realize the severity of the accident at the time. She ended up finally going to the hospital 4 days later. Once admitted she struggled with her breathing and soon after was intubated. Her fall resulted in 4 fractured ribs that penetrated her left lung. She also developed pneumonia in her other lung and was septic. Life support measures were put in place and dialysis was administered but not sucessful. Doctors advised there was nothing else they could do which presented the hardest decision ever to have to make by her daughter, Kylee Alfrey. Given the prognosis from the medical staff Norma was taken off life support Wednesday, November 29th. She stayed with us for 11 minutes then passed peacefully at 11:26am. She was surrounded by her daughter, Kylee holding her hand, 4 nieces and a family friend at her side. We prayed, played her music and told stories while all embraced together and surrounding her. It was surreal. She is no longer suffering and in pain.
Norma was on Medicaid and had no life insurance.
She has been cremated and we are holding a service for her on January 26th, 2024 at Ballard Funeral Home in Middletown, IN. Ballard has been amazing to work with to help us make this happen the best they can. We are also hoping to be able to get a plot at Millers Cemetary in Middletown, IN and spread her ashes in the Spring.
All donations will go toward Funeral and Memorial costs.
We greatly appreciate any help toward laying this beautiful woman to rest and being able to honor her life and celebrate her time here on earth.
Thank you in advance and God Bless!
