Father and daughter abandoned by wife and mother.

Hello, my name is Shannon and I am raising funds to help my son and my granddaughter. He recently found himself in a position where he had to protect his daughter from the one person who should have loved her most.. their joint bank account was emptied and shut down, the child benefit that he should receive to help him care for his daughter was bounced back because the account was closed. He has spent days on the phone trying to find a lawyer. And because his wife contacted every lawyer in the city of Hamilton. that creates a conflict of interest, leaving him still having to search outside of his city now to find a lawyer. That’s another battle down the road. Right now I’m just trying to help him. Keep the lights on, and keep his daughter fed. And maintain a roof over their head. I have helped all that I can, so I am trying to raise the difference of what is needed. Currently we are in a time when everyone is struggling everyone is having a hard time putting food on the table or paying their bills or you’re having to choose between the two I would love nothing more than to be able to give him everything he needs just to keep going in the meantime until he can sort out his situation. I can’t even offer him space to stay because I currently am moving out of my home and into an apartment due to my own personal limitations, physical limitations. So I’m just trying to get help. He is trying his very best to maintain normalcy for his daughter. Who he loves dearly. He has turned out to be an amazing father. He has made his soul purpose, making that little girl happy. And just making sure she’s cared for. The way she deserves to be cared for. I can’t go into great detail because the other party who has left the house and closed the account and taken all the money is under investigation. I do hope that anybody can find it in their hearts to make a donation. No donation is too small.

I am going to link this GoFundMe directly to his bank account. He has probably the biggest battle of his life coming his way. He was previously awarded custody of his daughter once already. And he took his ex back. Which clearly turned out to be a mistake. His little girl has had her entire world turned upside down when she was violently struck by someone who should have protected her and loved her And now we are just trying to pick up the pieces and mend her broken heart.
