Help me to see my daughter and reconnect.

Greetings,

I am Kelly, a transgender woman originally from New Zealand who has resided in Melbourne since 2012.

Since my relocation, I have encountered both emotional and physical challenges due to the separation from my homeland. This profound sense of loss has been a constant presence, despite the circumstances that necessitated my move.

I've had virtually no help in Melbourne whilst transitioning, and I do not meet "residency requirements" for NDIS, even though my disabilities do.

I was born into an abusive household and severely and systematically abused from the age of 3 until I turned 11 by family members and in a child exploitation ring-type situation.

Due to the immense trauma of these earlier situations, I have been on a disability support pension for a while and have been struggling to survive here.

I have a daughter back home whom I have not seen since 2012.

We have a great relationship, though, and are both eager to reconnect and mend what the dreadful past has taken from both of us.

The funds I'm trying to reach would pay for my flights, accommodations, and daily living expenses for a couple of weeks in New Zealand and will be used sparingly (I'm a very careful person with money when I have it).

I would truly appreciate people helping to make my dream come true, to reconnect with my country and my daughter.
