Save Ashton’s Irreplaceable Sentimental Items

My name is Ashton Martin, I am 22 years old, and I am finding my footing after being homeless during 2023. I lived on the streets with my mom and younger sibling, and during that time we were forced to put our items into a storage unit.
My mother has been in complete control of the unit and has been irresponsible and careless when it comes to managing the unit. I was told that the storage unit is being put up for auction on January 15th. The unit needs to be paid off by the 14th. That storage unit contains my entire childhood worth of sentimental items, handmade family heirlooms, as well as a couple gifts from a friend that passed away when we were teenagers. The unit also contains my siblings items that I want to be able to hold onto for them.
The manager told me that in order for me to have any access to the unit I would need to pay the full due amount of $6,435. To stop it from going to auction I'd need at least $5,623. I am hardly able to support myself at the moment with barely having gotten on my own feet, so I do not have any funds to pay off the unit.
I do not want to lose this unit, as I have already had to start over and losing access to one of a kind family photos, items, and gifts from dear friends of mine would take away the last remnants of my old life. I do not want to let these items go so I have no other option but to ask for help.
It is hard for me to ask for any amount of help, but these items are important to me and would break my heart to lose. If you are able to help at all, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Any help is greatly appreciated.
If by any chance there is money left over it will go towards moving fees for my sibling who is still homeless with my mother.
