The Warped Collective

The Warped Collective is a creative ensemble of multi-hyphenate artists and makers dedicated to the evolution of devised performance. We are committed to ensemble practice & collaborative process and the expansive definition of audience engagement, immersivity, and storytelling.

The Warped Collective emerged from the chaos of the early days of the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020. A virtual classroom was TWC’s first collaborative space, where 25 university students of performance, writing and design “zoomed in” from across the globe to learn how to make work together in the most uncertain of times. Creating from this place of necessity and restriction fueled our collective curiosity and drove our artistic innovation. What began as challenges have become our greatest strengths as professional makers, forging a path forward into an exciting new era of performance and collaborative art.
