Bay Area Maniacz Basketball

Hi! My name is Max Sabado, and I am starting a GoFundMe for the Bay Area Maniacz Basketball Club. We are a grassroots organization that started because of my love for basketball and my goal to make an impact on the youth in my community.

We are in the Bayshore/Visitation Valley community, where many of the youth that participate are underserved and otherwise would not have the means to play the game. I started Bay Area Maniacz as a tool to teach the youth the game of basketball as well as incorporate important life skills. Through basketball, I teach the kids accountability, communication, dedication, discipline, and organization.

Our goal is to earn donations to cover the following expenses for the youth who participate in the program:

-Travel fees for the youth to participate in tournaments. We are participating in a Basketball Tournament in June (peak travel season to Hawaii) and the goal is to provide half of the travel fees for each participant (flight and hotel). We also have Reno, Seattle & Vegas lined up this year.

-Tournament fees (Registration and administrative fees)

-Equipment and gear required to run practices and skills workouts

-Provide a scholarship to our youth participants who have financial constraints that maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
