Student & Mom Need a Safe Home

I want to be completely honest on this platform, so I'm going to start by saying I'm from Albania, but I don't have the option to choose this country. (Please excuse my English)

The reason I'm here is to afford a better place for me and my mom, for the sake of our health and wellbeing. As you can see in the photo, these are the conditions we live in. The mold is affecting our lungs for the worse, and we can't afford to move out to a better place. (We have talked to the landlord but have found no solution about this.)

I am a student studying veterinary medicine, so I cannot work—not because I don't want to, but because I can't; the major I've chosen requires lots of time and effort from me. I am a good student, and I work hard on my studies.

My family is made up of me and my mom. My mom is working, but her wage cannot cover the price of a better place. The average wage here in Albania is $400, and the place I'm looking for is $500/month.

I have 2 years and a half left for my studies, and I'd love to start by covering those years first, plus some extra expenses. 2 years and a half is 30 months, so 500×30=$15,000 + ($3,000 extra expenses) = $18,000.
