Off-Road Vehicles for Ukraine
Donation protected
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, there has been a sustained need for off-road vehicles that can navigate the ravaged landscape, providing support, aid, and evacuations to Ukrainians under Russian threat. The United Kingdom is uniquely positioned to support Ukraine in this matter due to clean air initiatives like ULEZ and the Sheffield Clean Air Zone, which have lowered the price of off-road vehicles on the secondary market, making them significantly cheaper here than elsewhere in Europe.
Convoy4Ukraine, in partnership with the Sunflower Network, fundraises, sources, and delivers off-road vehicles laden with aid to non-profit partners within Ukraine. To date, they have delivered 67 off-road vehicles and 9 ambulances over 7 convoys. As a grassroots organization, Convoy4Ukraine maintains a near-100% program expense ratio, ensuring that nearly all funds raised go directly toward vehicles and aid—no office space is rented, no salaries are paid, and all expenses not directly related to vehicle sourcing and delivery are self-funded!
Now, here’s where I come in: I'm a 21-year-old Journalism and Photography student in my final year at the London College of Communication. I’ve joined the convoy twice as their photographer, in March and September 2024, documenting the journey, handover, and impact of their vehicles. Convoy4Ukraine uses these images in news features, on their website, and in fundraising efforts. In March 2025, Convoy4Ukraine will return to Ukraine.
The money you donate will go toward the fundraising and delivery of a second-hand off-road vehicle that, in March 2025, will join a fleet assembled by Convoy4Ukraine on their journey east.
