Help David Bring 'The Madman' to Life

My name is David Harris; I'm a Painter, Writer and Filmmaker working day to day as a feature film Electrician in NYC. I came to this city in 1996, fresh out of film school with the dream of becoming a movie Director. I fully intended to be rubbing shoulders with Scorcese and DeNiro within a year... Instead I spent the next two decades rubbing shoulders with the incredible people who actually make movies- the tacticians, technicians, and artisans who pour their hearts into it 14 hours a day, rain or shine.

'The Madman' is a love letter to them; an alternately tense and humorous look at human nature and the differences that make us all the same. This short film will be produced and directed by me in early-to-mid September of 2025. We are currently looking to secure finishing funds to guarantee the film's completion. That's where you come in.
