Help Amr Get Treatment And Evacuate His Family From Gaza

Donation protected
Hi all, my name is Ahmed. First, a quick intro from me, then a letter from the family I'm representing. I live in Düsseldorf and in my advocacy connected with My friend from Gaza, a former colleague at a previous company, who is struggling along with her family to evacuate due to the exorbitant costs required by Egypt.

Rasha is from the center of Gaza City in an area called Al-Rimal, a mother of 3 children. She is a Software Engineer.

‏In a pivotal moment, their lives were turned upside down, leaving them jobless and homeless, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe area to secure the survival of their family and children, barely able to provide for their children's needs.

‏Her young child suffers from abdominal tightness and requires treatment and surgery to maintain kidney function. They are now living in a small, overcrowded house with relatives, struggling to survive and ensure the safety of their children

I offered to sponsor their GoFundMe as it requires a bank outside of Gaza. Rasha will explain more specifics, but in a nutshell, we are evacuating 3 children, 2 adults, each at about 5K-7K travel permit costs through Hala Consulting and Tourism in Cairo. They are really charging that much, it's awful. This campaign also covers shelter and food in Egypt as well as treatment for Amr.

Money is transferred from my bank account to one of their relatives to coordinate and pay for the travel permits

***LETTER FROM Rasha (March 2024)***
Greetings, I'm Rasha, a Gaza resident, and a mother of three (Lana, Yazan, and Amr), ages 10, 8, and 10 months, respectively. I work as a Software Engineer, while my husband,
Mohammed, is an Industrial Engineer.

Today marks day 176 of the ongoing conflict. The atmosphere is fraught with the constant drone of reconnaissance and fighter jets, while the air carries the scent of destruction and loss. Life has become a daily struggle for survival, devoid of basic necessities like water, food, and medicine. Every moment is overshadowed by the looming threat of bombardment.

Since the upheaval began on October 7th, my family has been displaced, our jobs lost, and our lives thrown into uncertainty. My children have been stripped of their sense of security, their belongings, and even their simplest dreams. Amidst this chaos, my youngest, Amr, has grown. Born just before the conflict began, he now faces health challenges requiring urgent medical attention.

Amidst the chaos and the scarcity of resources, we appeal to compassionate hearts for assistance. Our aim is to secure a better future for our children and to ensure the treatment of Amr. Your support is invaluable in helping us rebuild our lives and providing a sense of security for our family.

To facilitate our escape and temporary resettlement, we require $17,500 for border crossing fees and $15,000 for accommodation and living expenses. Additionally, funds
are needed for Amr's medical treatment. Your generosity can make a world of difference in our journey towards hope and stability. Thank you for considering our plea for assistance in these trying times.
