The African Arts Centre - We Need a New Space!

The African Arts Centre (TAAC) is a space that is dedicated to celebrating African Arts within Scotland! Much of what we focus on is the connection between and blending of those two cultures. There is a beautiful African population within Scotland and TAAC loves to explore what that looks like within artistic spaces.

During Covid lockdown, TAAC unfortunately lost the building that we used to run our Centre out of. We need to find a new space that will house us and support our art and what we believe in!

We would love a space that could give us the opportunity to run workshops, storytelling events, gatherings, poetry slams, potlucks, theatrical performances, live music and more. We want a space that will be for people of all ages to connect to their African roots through community. Please consider donating so we can build that community space.
