Save The Ozarks Again

Founded in 2023, Concerned Citizens of the Ozarks was created in response to the growing misinformation regarding property rights, water resources, threats of zoning, the potential loss of our natural beauty, and environmental concerns of the time. We are a diverse group dedicated to making a positive impact on the Ozarks through advocacy, education, and community engagement.

The Ozarks are being targeted by billion-dollar corporations eager to cash in on federal production tax credits at the expense of our fragile environment and rural communities. Wind energy is important, but not at the cost of our water aquifers and pristine landscapes

Unless earmarked for a specific purpose by the donor, the donations being raised will be used to fund litigation in our ongoing efforts to protect the Ozarks. Our group sponsored a Complaint filed on October 1, 2024 in the Circuit Court of Carroll County, Arkansas signed by 25 local residents.
