Berlin New Stand-Up Award 2025

Hello! We are Caroline, Kat, Luiz, Fay, Anja and Neil - the team behind the not-for-profit Berlin New Stand-Up Award, an annual English language comedy competition for newbies. Every year we try and make the competition bigger and better AND THIS YEAR WE TOTALLY OVERREACHED! We tried to get some corporate sponsors, but I guess they hate live comedy. (that door is still wide open btw!)

Please donate to us so we can pay for our beautiful but pricey AF venue Heimathafen, and anything extra will be added to the prize money.

This competition is a really important date in the English language comedy calendar, as it’s a big event for new comedians to knuckle down and focus on. Whether they just started doing comedy or already have 18 months under their belts, it’s an amazingly exciting event where you never know what's going to happen!
