10KM (10K Meals Across LA)

Peace and blessings,

In 2022, I set out with a heartfelt goal to ensure that our underserved Black, Brown, and homeless communities remained nourished and supported. With sheer determination and the incredible backing of our community partners, including vegan giants All Love No Beef, Tofurkey and Follow Your Heart, we served over 10K meals.

Now, as we journey through 2023, I'm on a renewed mission: to serve another 10K Meals Across LA this summer. Our kick-off event at Skid Row on Friday, July 21st, in partnership with Kevin Hart's Hart House Restaurant, saw us distributing 250 vegan cheeseburgers. In addition, Vegan Jawn provided refreshing water ice, and Imani Gardens contributed fresh fruit juice and cups filled to the brim with freshly cut fruits, all prepared on the spot.

Our momentum is palpable and growing. In under seven days, we've already distributed over 800 meals! However, there's still much to be done. Every $5 donation directly funds a meal for someone in need. Your support, no matter the amount, plays a vital role in our continued efforts to nourish and uplift our community.
